Uhříněves, U Starého mlýna Uhříněves

The local city quarter of Prague-Uhříněves is located on the south-eastern edge of Prague and is currently one of the burgeoning areas of the capital. This is a site that combines all the conveniences of the modern age with restful living in greenery and in the countryside, while offering good transport links. It lies on no less than 14 public transport routes, including train and long-distance bus routes. For example, to get to the underground station Háje takes 10 minutes by bus, the Depo Hostivař underground is 20 minutes away, and you can be at the Prague central railway station in 20 minutes by train. At nearby Průhonice, you can join the main D1 motorway and the city ring-road.

The municipality itself offers all civic amenities. Here you will find a kindergarten and a primary school, a post office, a medical practice, a municipal police office, shops, restaurants and even a theatre.
Moreover, Uhříněves has a wide range of sports options to offer, with recreational facilities including a football pitch, tennis courts, fitness club and last but not least, a number of bike routes.

Nature lovers will appreciate more than 30 hectares of woodland in the natural landmark „Obora v Uhříněvsi“ gamepark, since 1982 a nature reserve. The proximity of the Podleský rybník lake-sized pond gives another venue for rest and recreation. You may also set off on a family trip to Průhonice Castle and Park, the Dendrological Arboretum Gardens or the Aquapark in Čestlice.

The U Starého mlýna apartment building is a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, 14 minutes from the train station, 6 minutes from the nursery and 9 minutes from the nearest primary school.
